Welcome to NATO! Follow the steps below to become a full NATO member and join our community!

1. Register yourself on the forum using your Nation Ruler name -- be sure to enter all data on the form including Nation Name, Nation ID, and . You must activate your account using the link in the confirmation email. Return to the forums and log in with you new account credentials.

2. Start a new thread at New Recruit Welcome Center and introduce you, your nation, and it's citizens to NATO. Finish up your introduction post with the following information:

1) Why do you want to join NATO?

2) If you were in an alliance previous to applying to NATO, why did you leave?

3) Are you now or have you ever been on any alliance Perma ZI or ZI list? If so give details please.

3. If you can't find your welcome thread after your name turns pink, please look for it at Cadet School. Or you can press <Ctrl+D> to bookmark your application thread

4. Your Big Brother will contact you either via the forums or in game. He/she will be your personal mentor through your nation's career, ask them any questions you may have.

5. While waiting for contact from your Big Brother, start studying on how to build your nation, please take a look at the CyberNation Nation Building Guide, and the other guides found in the Manuals forum.

As part or your cadet lessons, you will learn what NATO considers acceptable use of the CyberNations war system. DO NOT start any new wars until you have completed the Cadet training program, and fully understand our Rules of Engagement (RoE).

What to expect and what is expected of you...
What you get:

• Upon posting an application and changing your Alliance Affiliation to NATO, you will earn a $3,000,000 signup bonus. Upon successful completion of the Cadet Program, you will earn an additional $12,000,000.
  
• You will also be eligible to apply for growth aid, war aid, and other various types of aid.
  
• You are also urged to apply for a trade circle to help maximize your trade values.
  
• There are many many programs we offer, and a whole library of guides to offer advice on everything from nation growth - to fighting wars. Search them out....

What we expect:

• You to answer the call of duty during wars (be it through fighting or aiding) all members must answer the call.
  
• Report in periodically to the forums... let us know you are alive
  
• You will sell tech to NATO nations and work to build your nation efficiently.
  
• Treat your fellow NATO members with the same respect they should be showing you.
  
• Represent NATO honorably when around nations from other alliances (on the OWF, IRC, or wherever)
  
• Have fun, vote in elections, and voice your opinions
